Battles to Blessings Disaster Relief

Our mission is to provide disaster relief and community support to individuals and families impacted by disaster, trauma, or hardships. Through the coordination of volunteers, the distribution of essential supplies, emotional and spiritual care, and community rebuilding efforts, Battles to Blessings displays Faith in Action when communities and people are struggling in some of their darkest moments.

After spending the past decade volunteering with other amazing organizations, God placed it on my heart to open this ministry — to truly be the hands and feet of Jesus when natural disasters strike hardest. Our work begins with meeting immediate needs by providing essential supplies, resources, and emotional and spiritual support. But it doesn’t stop there — we return after others have moved on, walking alongside communities in the rebuilding process and helping restore hope in crisis when it’s needed most.
God’s love is the foundation of this organization and He seeks people who will answer the call to action.
Isaiah 6:8 says “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” and I replied “Here I am,” I said; “send me!””
Whatever you feel called to do, whether physically, financially, prayerfully or emotionally supporting others - I encourage you to answer that call by saying “Here I am, send me!”

Ongoing campaign - We are busy making double lined fleece no-sew (tab) blankets for those in need. These blankets are so warm, and give comfort to those fighting cancer, those who have lost everything in a disaster, or in need of warmth provided with love in every one of these handmade blankets.
The fleece we purchase is a heavy anti-pill fleece made to withstand years of use and washings. We always try to purchase materials Made in the USA to support our fellow countrymen. Each assembled blanket is measured 5W x 5-6'L, or up to 7' long and can cost us $35 per blanket.
Recipients battling cancer have shared with us how much they enjoy using them for the warmth, and the 7' long ones are great to cover them completely. Other recipients from shelters have shared they still have them after 10+ years.
We've even heard how the dogs and cats approve!

Nearly two years after the May 2024 tornado tore through Valley View, TX, the damage for some families is still not fully behind them. Many families are still picking up the pieces.
One elderly couple in particular has stayed close to my heart.
Their deck and stairs are badly rotting, with boards lifting and creating a dangerous hazard. What should be a safe way in and out of their home has become unstable and unsafe.
This sweet couple is in urgent need of a new deck and stairs, and we need your help to make it happen.
Donations are needed to purchase the materials required so they can have a safe entrance to their home once again. This is about more than lumber and nails — it is about protecting two precious people, preserving their dignity, and reminding them they are not alone.
Please consider giving, sharing, and helping us meet this need as quickly as possible. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference.
We are also looking for a handful of local people experienced in building decks to assist on this project. Please email renee@b2bministries.org
